LAWRENCE MCMAHON

Aged 51, of Montague Street, Brighton, admitted assaulting a man in the city. Fined £80, with £50 compensation to the victim, £30 surcharge, and £85 costs.

KIERAN DOYLE

Aged 28, of Newick Road, Brighton, admitted assaulting a man, criminal damage to a car, threatening behaviour, and assaulting two police officers, and drunk and disorderly behaviour in Uckfield. Ordered to complete alcohol dependency treatment for six months and pay £683 compensation.

THOMAS BIRKINSHAW

Aged 23, of Rustington Road, Brighton, admitted drug driving with cocaine and cannabis in his system at Falmer. Fined £400, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.

ALEXANDRA COOK

Aged 21, Whippingham Road, Brighton, admitted driving without due care and attention and without insurance in Lewes Road. Fined £667, with a £40 surcharge and £50 costs. Nine points added to her licence.

Aged 27, of Station Road, Plumpton Green, admitted possessing cannabis. Fined £180, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs.

RYAN FARRINGTON

Aged 25, of Sandringham Close, Hove, admitted drug driving with cannabis in his system. Fined £180, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.

Aged 60, of Twineham Close, Brighton, admitted failing to provide a breath test after being suspected of drink driving. Fined £230, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.

ANTHONY NOVIS

Aged 35, of Montreal Close, Peacehaven, admitted drink driving in Marine Parade, Brighton. Tested positive for 41 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg per 100ml. Fined £250, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.

DENON YARWOOD

Aged 24, of Wakefield Road, Brighton, admitted possessing etizolam, a class C drug, and cannabis. Ordered to complete 15 rehabilitation sessions, with a £85 surcharge and £85 costs.
