AN unconscious woman has been pulled out of the sea.
Police and ambulances were called to Hove seafront, opposite the Mercure Hotel in King’s Road, at 11.05am.
Emergency services performed CPR on a woman in her 40s after she was pulled from the sea unconscious.
She was then taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "CPR was begun by lifeguards prior to our arrival.
"The patient was taken to hospital in a serious condition."
