POLICE are appealing to readers of The Argus for help finding wanted suspects around Sussex.

Christopher Locke 

Police are seeking 56-year-old Christopher Locke, also known as Peter Blaney, who is wanted on recall to prison after he breached the terms of a licence for his early release.

Locke, of no fixed address, but known to frequent the Crawley, Kent and London areas, was serving a four-and-a-half year sentence for arson, imposed in October 2015.

In May this year he left custody at HM Prison Highpoint in Suffolk, but has since failed to keep to the conditions required of him.

Malcolm Howell

Police are looking for Malcolm Howell, 52, who is wanted for interview over allegations that he has been stalking a woman known to him in Hove.

He also uses the name John Dory and the nickname "Fish".

Howell is described as white, 5'8", of stocky build and with mousy coloured hair.

He is known to frequent Portslade and Brighton city centre.

Detective Sergeant Sebastian Day said; "If you know where Howell might be, or if you see him out and about, do not approach him but please give us a call on 999 as soon as possible quoting serial 217 of 14/06.

John Henry Bond

Police are searching for John Henry Bond, who is wanted in connection with serious harassment and stalking offences.

The 63-year-old pleaded guilty to bombarding his former partner with a string of threatening text messages and phone calls between 13 June and 21 June.

However, he has since failed to appear in court for sentencing and police have issued a warrant for his arrest.

Bond has connections to East and West Sussex, as well as Poole, Ferndown, Bournemouth, Weymouth and Wimbourne in Dorset, Salisbury in Wiltshire and Ringwood in Hampshire.

Steven Harris

Police in East Sussex who are searching for 32-year-old Steven Harris, wanted over threats to commit arson, and of causing criminal damage, issued an appeal for him on the BBC1 Crimewatch Roadshow.

The Argus:

Detectives want to interview him over threats to commit arson, and causing criminal damage to the car of a woman known to him, in Flimwell High Street during April last year.

Harris, who is a scaffolder, frequents East Sussex but also has links to Swanley in Kent and Walton on Thames in Surrey.

He is described as white, 5`11" and of medium build with short dark brown hair.
