A THUG struck a man on the head with a weapon during an attack in a flat.
Mateusz Witczak assaulted Jack Yarwood at Theobald House in North Laine, Brighton.
The 31-year-old admitted inflicting actual bodily harm after changing his plea at Brighton Magistrates’ Court.
Court documents reveal a weapon was used in the “sustained” incident, and Mr Yarwood was struck on the head.
Witczak, of Theobald House, was given a 26-week suspended prison sentence and ordered to complete 30 rehabilitation sessions.
He must also pay £150 in compensation to Mr Yarwood, as well as £300 costs and a £115 surcharge.
