AN MP has condemned a bank’s decision to close one of its branches.

Lloyds bank told residents its Kemp Town branch in St George’s Road, Brighton, will close on November 4 this year.

Kemptown MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle said he was “very disappointed” with the bank’s decision.

He said the loss of the bank’s two cash machines would leave Kemp Town without any outdoor public ATMs.

He has written to the bank asking it to preserve the machines.
