A FRAUDSTER has been forced to pay thousands of pounds after wrongly using a disabled parking badge.
Gary Bolingbroke, 49, of Albion Hill, Brighton, admitted using the blue badge with the intent to deceive.
Brighton and Hove City Council brought three charges against him for parking in Kingswood Street and Vine Street last year.
Bolingbroke changed his plea to admit the charges at Brighton Magistrates’ Court.
He was fined £2,993, and was ordered to pay £750 court costs. Magistrates Matthew Irish also told him to pay £110 in compensation, with a £99 surcharge.
