A MOTORIST was fined thousands of pounds for drink and drug driving.
James Lewis was stopped in a Ferrari by officers at Stonegate, near Wadhurst.
He tested positive for 174 milligrammes (mg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of blood. The legal limit is 80mg per 100ml.
Lewis, 46, of High Street, Tunbridge Wells, also tested positive for cocaine.
At Hastings Magistrates’ Court he admitted the two charges and was ordered to pay £2,500 in fines.
He was also ordered to pay a £150 surcharge and £85 costs.
