BURGLARS stole several thousand pounds worth of goods in rural break-ins.
Police are investigating the incidents in Bluebell Lane, Sharpthorne near East Grinstead.
High value bicycles and power tools were stolen from garages.
A blue Five Pro mountain bike with white suspension forks, a Fox rear shock absorber, carbon fibre handlebars and Hop Tech 2 hydraulic brakes worth £4,000 were stolen in the first break-in, believed to be on August 4.
Meanwhile the second break in happened between August 5 and 7.
Thieves took two Milwaukee electric drills, each worth £500, four caravan batteries, worth £320, a Karcher pressure washer worth £350, a Halfords socket set worth £200, a Husqvarna chainsaw and a Makita angle grinder.
Two men were reportedly seen acting suspiciously in the area, trying car doors.
Anyone with information should call 101 and quote serial 817 of 04/08 for the bicycles, or serial 0358 of 08/08 for the power tools.
