ONE student is celebrating two huge successes today.
Roedean pupil Paloma Shemirani achieved two A* grades and one A, earning a spot at Cambridge University to study modern and medieval languages.
This comes just a week after the 18-year-old bagged her place in the final of the Miss Brighton contest.
Paloma said: “It’s really important to me to show that just because you enter a beauty pageant and want to look your best, it doesn’t mean you can’t be intelligent too.
"I want to win Miss Brighton and then go on to Miss GB and put this amazing city on the map for one more reason."
