TEENAGERS have described the immense relief of finding out their A-level results today.

But, in past years, children from one family in particular have had an additional pressure placed upon them.

All eyes are often fixed on members of the Royal Family as they go to pick up their results.

Queen Elizabeth did not take the exams as she was preparing to become the monarch, but many studious royals have sat the exams since her ascension.

This is how they got on:

Prince Harry

The Duke of Sussex styudied at Eton and earned a B in art and a D in geography in his A-levels.

He also excelled in sports such as rugby, cricket and polo, was a member of the Combined Cadet Force and was named House Captain of Games.

After a gap year, he chose to join the Army rather than study at university.

Meghan Markle

The Duchess of Sussex was educated in the USA so did not sit GCSEs or A-levels.

But her secondary school studies did earn her a place at university.

She was awarded with a double major in theatre and international relations at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 2003.

Prince William

William also studied at the £40,000 a year Eton.

Obtaining an A in geography, B in art and C in biology, her went on to study history of art at St Andrews University in Scotland.

He graduated alongside future wife Kate Middleton with a 2:1.

Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton has the bragging rights when it comes to A-level results, outperforming her husband with As in maths and art as well as a B in english.

She also studied at St Andrews University, graduating with a 2:1 in History of Art.

Prince Charles

Prince Charles was sent to the very strict Gordonstoun.

He left with five O-levels (GCSEs) and two A-levels - a B in History and a C in French.

The eldest son of the Queen then studied at Cambridge University and graduated with a 2:2 in History.

Princess Beatrice

Princess Beatrice received an A in Drama and Bs in History and Film Studies.

The first daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson went on to graduate from Goldsmith's with a 2:1 in History of Ideas.
