Aged 21, of Poynings Drive, Hove, admitted drug driving with cannabis in his system. Fined £200, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.
MASON KING
Aged 18, of no fixed address, admitted assaulting a man in McDonald’s restaurant in Western Road, Brighton, and breaching a community order for previous assaults on emergency workers. To complete 25 rehabilitation sessions and pay £50 compensation
with an £85 surcharge and £50 costs.
FIONA NEWSOME
Aged 50, of Eaton Place, Brighton, admitted possessing a kitchen knife in public. Given conditional discharge and to pay a £20 surcharge with £85 costs.
LESLIE REDMOND
Aged 52, of no fixed address, admitted obstructing a police officer in Brighton. Given a conditional discharge and to pay a £20 surcharge with £20 costs.
BRADLEY SIMMONETTE
Aged 24, of Grand Parade, Brighton, admitted assaulting a police officer. Ordered to pay £50 compensation and fined £80 with a £30 surcharge and £50 costs.
MICHAEL MERCER
Aged 24, of Hawkhurst Road, Coldean, admitted drink driving. Tested positive for 94 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg per 100ml. Ordered to complete 50 hours of unpaid work, with an £85 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

Aged 29, of Carlton Hill, Brighton, admitted drug driving. Tested positive for cocaine and cannabis in her system. Fined £120, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.

Aged 18, of Thompson Road, Newhaven, admitted drink driving. Tested positive for 58mcg of
alcohol per 100ml of breath. Fined £113, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.
LUKE JACKSON
Aged 25, of Livingstone Road, Hove, admitted driving without due care and attention. Fined £350, with a £35 surcharge and £200
costs. Six points added to his licence.
VICTORIA SCOTT
Aged 29, of Manor Way, Brighton, admitted drink driving. Tested positive for 61mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. Fined £120, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. No ban because of short distance driven under pressure from abusive ex-partner. Six points added to her licence.
AARON BARRETT
Aged 28, of North Street, Brighton, found guilty of failing to provide a blood sample after being suspected of a road traffic offence. Fined £180, with a £30 surcharge and £620 costs. Ten points added to his licence.
CATHERINE HAMBROOK
Aged 37, of Williams Road, Shoreham, admitted drink driving. Tested positive for 49mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. Fined £309, with a £32 surcharge and £85
costs. Banned from driving for one year.
SHAH RAHMAN
Aged 43, of Guildford Road, West Tarring, admitted breaching a restraining order and breaching a suspended sentence for assault. Fined £280, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs.
