FLYTIPPED rubbish was dumped at a beauty spot.
A mound of old carpets, broken furniture and other household objects were left in Friston Forest, in the Seven Sisters Country Park.
It is thought the rubbish was left near the Butchershole car park in the Forestry Commission owned wood at about 6.30pm on Thursday and involved a white van,
Roderick Gentry who discovered the waste said: “If anyone knows who these offenders are then please do get in touch in order that they can be prosecuted.
“The incident took place on Forestry England land and I understand it’s the responsibility of the land owner. I’ve tried to call them but they’re not available until Monday. “
