A TEENAGER who claims to have been involved in a viral video of yobs on bikes rampaging through Asda has issued an apology.

The gang recorded themselves storming the supermarket - punching one shopper, wrestling an old lady and terrorising families in Brighton.

On Friday, Sussex police arrested two suspects - a 12-year-old boy and a youth aged 19 - on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

And today one young man said he was sorry for the whole incident.

Speaking in an eight minute long video, the man, who The Argus has chosen not to identify, said: "I do want to apologise for all of the bad stuff that I've done in that video and that all over my channel and that's not really good putting a bad name on.

"I've got people on my side and I've got people not on my side.

"I don't know what was going through my head to be posting that type of content anyway, but I did post it.

"I got this really nasty feedback from you guys... so I kinda learnt from that and I did stop posting all them crazy numbers.

"I don't think anyone would promote that kind of riding anyway, I wouldn't even call it riding anyway.

"I'm not going to be doing that anymore guys.

"I do apologise for that video, to the most of you guys that it offended.

The video showed the yobs laughing with excitement, as one member faces the camera and said: "Yo we're riding through Asda right now!"

As his pals narrowly miss skidding into shoppers, he can be heard shouting "Uh oh".

But one furious shopper shouts: "They don't even care", prompting another youth to laugh as he cycles standing on the pedals to get more speed.

They continue to laugh, cutting corners through aisles until one young boy is seen wrestling with an elderly woman.

His pals shout "get off him, get off him", but other shoppers try to block them with their trolleys.

The boy suddenly leaves the OAP and turns to a man in front of him, to punch him in the chest.

A shopper shouts with fear: "Security please to the fresh aisle!"

Their antics in Asda was just a two minute segment of the 24-minute video posted on YouTube with the title "The Maddest Day Ever In Brighton".

At one point, they weaved in and out of cars in a busy road.

A man shouted: "You little chavvy f***ers... go learn how to use the f***ing road."

But a youth replies: "You're calling us chavvy? You live in Brighton."

As more people in the store tried to block them, the group tried to speed out of the store, while stealing biscuits and cans of Red Bull as they left.

Outside out, the youth filming shouts to the camera, "Crazy! In and out of Asda real quick. That was actually sick.

"Make sure you like and subscribe yeah?"

Their YouTube channel has 84,000 subscribers and the video has now been watched more than 20,000 times.
