A TV presenter will be helping residents brighten up their neighbourhood.
Springwatch’s Kate Bradbury will be on hand as people in the Boundary Road area of Hove plant greenery around the area.
Five new planters will be arriving.
Kate will be giving the Blooming Boundary Campaign advice on keeping the planters blossoming as well as sponsoring a planter of her own.
On September 15, residents are being asked to help with planting and cleaning up and repairing the existing planters.
The campaign, which aims to transform streets residents think have been neglected by Brighton and Hove City Council, was launched by councillors Robert Nemeth and Garry Peltzer-Dunn and resident Karen Young in 2016.
Since then they have held regular fundraising events as well as an annual gardening day.
