Plans to build a 70-bed care home to go before council
DEVELOPERS want to build a 70-bed care home for the elderly.
Perseus Land and Developments is seeking permission to build the home in North Trade Road, Battle.
It would mean demolition of existing buildings on the site and include associated amenities, car parking and external landscaping.
The site is next to Claverham Community College and now occupied by two detached homes.
Some residents have objected with concerns over traffic and access on to North Trade Road.
