A MAN who took a motorbike and crashed it has been jailed.
Paul Wright stole the Suzuki SV from Brighton.
But he crashed in Baker Street and caused more than £5,000 damage.
The 46-year-old appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court where he admitted aggravated vehicle taking and damage. He had no insurance and was riding the motorcycle while banned.
Magistrates were not impressed about his previous convictions and his response to previous court orders.
Wright, of Preston Road, Brighton, was jailed for eight weeks. Magistrates also made him pay £350 in compensation, with a £115 surcharge and £85 costs. They banned him from having a licence for three years.
