THIS weekend hundreds of mods will descend on Sussex to celebrate the culture, scooters and the 40th anniversary of Quadrophenia.
The city has several events taking part to keep all mod fans busy.
Tonight, the Goldhawks will be performing from 7pm at Concorde 2.
A Band Called Malice will be performing elsehwere at Door 77 from 7.30pm.
You've Killed Me Scooter will be performing following that gig.
For 12 hours on Sunday the Palace Pier will be taken over by mods celebrating the 40th anniversary of the hit film Quadrophenia.
Stars of the film including Gary Shail and Leslie Ash will be in attendance and taking part in Q&A sessions. Ahead of the event the cast will also be honoured with a spot on the Brighton Walk of Fame on the pier.
