AN ARREST has been made after a car crashed into a telegraph pole.
The incident happened in Grinstead Lane, Lancing, at 9.27pm yesterday.
Two people were inside the vehicle at the time.
Pictures from the scene show the vehicle's wreckage on a grass bank following the crash.
A Sussex Police spokesman said a woman with a suspected broken arm was taken by ambulance to hospital.
He added that a person remains in custody in Worthing following the crash.
The road was closed while ambulance crews, the fire service and police dealt with the incident.
The road was fully reopened at about 10pm.
