A259 CAR BLAZE: Firefighters tackle flames on busy road
A CAR was ablaze in a busy road last night.
Police attended the incident on the A259 at 9.34pm after multiple calls from concerned members of the public.
The fire brigade put out the fire, which had engulfed the vehicle, in Brighton Road, Lancing, yesterday evening.
Pictures from the scene show the burnt out wreckage of the car.
As well as emergency services including police officers and firefighters.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "We attended the scene at 9.34pm following numerous calls.
"The fire brigade put the vehicle fire out and it was left to cool down before it was recovered."
