A SEAGULL has pioneered a bold new way to get hold of human food by queueing.
The young gull was spotted in line at Five Guys burger joint in Brighton Marina.
Facebook user Aimee Sanjari uploaded the photo, writing: “Despite taking a more civilised route than his seagull peers, Gerald was disappointed when he never ended up getting served at the Marina Five Guys...”
One user commented: “Don’t worry. Once he sheds that tawny coat he will dive bomb any scraps he can see.”
He said: “This seagull can be turned away from a life of petty theft.”
Earlier this month, The Argus tested research that suggested staring at seagulls can put them off stealing food.
This gutsy gull was clearly undeterred.
