Aged 45, of Chichester Close, Hove, guilty in absence of failing to identify the driver suspected of a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £660, with a £66 surcharge and £85 costs. Six points added to his licence.

MARTIN BARKER

Aged 44, of Grand Parade, Brighton, admitted homophobic harassment and assaulting a police officer in West Street. Fined £160, with a £32 surcharge and £85 costs.

PHILLIP WALKER

Aged 35, of Ardingly Court, Brighton, found guilty of possessing cannabis in Market Street and failing to attend court. Fined £230, with a £30 surcharge and £200 costs.

CHRISTOPHER LEEVES

Aged 28 of Middle Road, Shoreham, found guilty of assaulting a man and a woman in Worthing. Admitted failing to provide a roadside breath test, failing to provide a blood test in custody when suspected of drink driving, failing to stop, and assaulting a police officer. Ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and pay £100 compensation, with a £85 surcharge and £300 costs. Banned from driving for three years.
