I THINK it’s little unfair that a retired police chief puts the blame for young people’s criminal behaviour on bad parenting.
You have to look at the bigger picture.
In my humble view governments and their friends in business must share a larger chunk of the blame for today problems.

People are angry.
This anger filters down the generations to their children and grandchildren.
I do feel sorry for the police, they are stuck in the middle and have to try and sort out the mess created by right-wing governments of the last 40 years.
Government policies have led to very divided society (divided by wealth).
Many people who have lost their jobs, can’t get other employment.
We now only have insecure, low paid, part-time zero hours rubbish, no affordable housing, food banks, while those at the top of society cream off the nation’s wealth.
Society’s problems are not all down to so-called bad parenting.
