GLOBAL activist campaigners are launching another group.
A Horsham group of environmental campaign organisation Extinction Rebellion will be formed early next month.
The movement aims to use “civil disobedience” to protest against a lack of authority action on climate change.
It was responsible for ten days of protests in London in April when more than 1,100 members were arrested as they blocked traffic, climbed on top of trains and glued themselves to buildings of companies they disagreed with.
A spokesman for Extinction Rebellion Horsham said: “We are facing an unprecedented global emergency.
“Life on Earth is in crisis. Scientists agree we have entered a period of abrupt climate breakdown and we are in the midst of a mass extinction of our own making.”
