THREE men have been jailed for a total of 22 years following investigations into the supply of cocaine.

Police searched an address in Ashford Road, Eastbourne, and found cocaine with an estimated street value of £75,000 under the floorboards. They also found 5kg of cannabis with an estimated street value of £50,000.

Forensic examination resulted in a DNA match for Agim Toska, of Milton Road, Eastbourne, and the 25-year-old was arrested.

Further searches revealed cash hidden around his house. Numerous mobile phones, paperwork and a single wrap of cocaine were also seized.

Officers acting on intelligence stopped a Toyota Yaris in Howard Square on July 12. The driver was Artur Schuli, 37, a car valeter, who was wanted on a European Arrest Warrant in Italy for Class A drugs offences.

Police Dog Basil, pictured, found cocaine with an estimated street value of up to £50,000 in the car. Cocaine, cannabis and further evidence of drug dealing was found in Schuli’s house.

A third man, Marsel Toska, cousin of Agim Toska), 22, unemployed, of Devonshire Place, Eastbourne, was stopped and searched as he approached the car. He had a bag containing £16,000 cash. A search of his flat revealed drugs, plastic bags, £2,000 cash, and a false passport.

Agim Toska appeared at Lewes Crown Court on August 23 and was sentenced to nine years and seven months’ imprisonment for being concerned in the supply of cocaine; being concerned in the supply of cannabis; and possession of criminal property.

Marsel Toska appeared August 16 and was sentenced to six years and nine months for conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to supply and possession of false ID documentation.

Artur Schuli appeared the same day and was sentenced to six years for conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to supply. All three admitted the charges.
