A THIEF who stole jewellery from women has been ordered to pay compensation.
Danielle Rockhill stole a gold neck chain from one woman in Newick and a gold bracelet from another in South Chailey.
She stole the items between August and September, and between October and November last year.
The 34-year-old was given a 22-week suspended sentence for her crimes at Brighton Magistrates’ Court.
Rockhill, of Alexander Mead, Newick, was ordered to pay £750 in compensation or the thefts. She must also pay a £115 surcharge and £85 costs.
