MAGISTRATES fined a man for homophobic abuse towards a police officer.

Steven Barber was taken to police custody in Durrington in June.

He abused PC Kendal with homophobic slurs based on the officer’s presumed sexual orientation.

Barber, 32, of Radnor Road, West Tarring, also abused another officer.

He was fined £200, with a £32 surcharge and £85 costs after admitting the charges.
