I TOTALLY agree with ‘name and address supplied’ and her concerns regarding dog poo on the beach.
These issues concern me too, and affect not only beaches but parks and anywhere people sit on the ground.
Unfortunately dog owners appear to worship their animals, enjoy seeing them behave badly, and deny there is any problem regarding germs, unwanted intrusions and general nuisance.
I regularly have food snatched from my hands by dogs or their noses in my food while picnicking.

The owners laugh and walk away.
We need the return of dog licensing and fines to fund rigorous maintenance of dog free areas in parks and on beaches.
Like this writer I too am ‘name and address supplied’ for fear of retribution from aggrieved dog lovers...
