I WOULD like to know why Brighton and Hove have not addressed the lack of water fountains in the city, given the fact that we are all trying not to use throwaway plastic bottles.
I usually carry my reusable water bottle whenever I’m out in the town but should I drink it all there is nowhere to refill.
I’m sure water fountains would be beneficial to the city as there are thousands of visitors, especially this time year, buying bottled water.
Once empty these bottles are being discarded, whether recycled or just abandoned, thus creating a bigger problem for the cleaning-up teams.
