DRIVERS are experiencing severe delays on the A27 this morning.
A stalled car has blocked one lane of the Shoreham Bypass causing three miles of queuing traffic.
An AA traffic report said: "There is one lane blocked and queueing traffic for three miles due to stalled car on the A27 eastbound at the A293 (Portslade / West Hove turn off).
"The congestion stretches to the A270 Holmbush Interchange, back through the Southwick Tunnel and to the A293 from West Hove.
"Drivers should expect severe delays of 14 minutes with delays easing on the A27 Eastbound between A270 Upper Shoreham Road (Southwick / Holmbush turn off) and the A293 (Portslade / West Hove turn off).
"The average speed is ten mph."
There are also delays on the nearby A270.
All lanes have now been reopened.
