DEVELOPERS are hoping to knock down a large house and replace it.

An application has been submitted to demolish the property in Roedean Crescent, Brighton, and build a new five-bedroom house.

The existing house has been uninhabited and vacant for some years with the roof leaking badly in several places, windows failing and the roof eaves collapsing.

The proposed house includes level access from the street and access into the basement via the sloping drive and entrance into the house.

Brighton and Hove City Council planners are advised to approve the plan.
