THE “aisle of dreams” in Aldi and Lidl is popular with shoppers keen to find a bargain on anything from gardening tools to clothing.

Whether it’s Aldi’s Specialbuys or Lidl’s Middle of Lidl, the latest offers are always worth checking out.

Here is some of what you can expect this week:

ALDI

The Aldi Special Buys range is back this week with a bumper edition specially curated for sports nuts and fans of fresh clothes.

Today rugby followers can support their favourite teams with a range of sportswear.

Hoodies, jackets and fleeces are available for supporters of England, Wales and Ireland – and with the Rugby World Cup kicking off later this month it is the ideal time to start showing your support.

Men’s, women’s and children’s tops are available and range from £9.99 up to £14.99, pictured right.

There will also be special offers on household items such as vacuums, ironing board covers and cleaning products.

The priciest item in this week’s Specialbuys is a dehumidifier which can be picked up for £119.

Glade Fresheners are £3.99, while an indoor, three-tier clothes drying rack will set you back just £12.99.

On Sunday the Specialbuys change to feature kitchen and bedroom accessories.

A variety of duvet sets is available, priced from £9.99 to £14.99 depending on the size.

There are plenty of pots and pans up for grabs – cast iron skillets are £14.99, casserole dishes are £24.99 and roasting dishes are £19.99.

LIDL

The big offering in the Middle of Lidl aisle today is a 24 inch HD Ready TV which can be picked up for £129.99, pictured far right.

Any expectant parents may also want to take a stroll down the aisle before Sunday as some baby essentials are on offer.

Heat sensing spoons are only £2.49, sectioned plates are £2.99 and a small bath toys are £3.49 each.

On Sunday the aisle changes to feature DIY and health essentials.

A stomach and back heating pad will cost you £14.99, there is a foot spa on sale at £19.99 and a 102-piece toolkit is only £49.99.

Aldi and Lidl have stores across Sussex, including in Brighton, Hove, Lewes, Worthing and Eastbourne.
