A SEVEN-day heatwave set to bake Brighton in a fine end to the summer will start today.
Nearly the whole county will enjoy a sunny day today, with peak temperatures reaching 23C.
The heatwave will continue on Saturday, with the mercury staying at 22C, before shooting up to 24C on Sunday.

Today:
A fine, and largely sunny start. Cloud will build through the day and it will also become quite breezy, however it will remain dry.
Feeling rather warm, especially in sunny spells.
Maximum temperature 23 °C.
Friday:
Any remaining cloud and patchy light rain clearing southern parts on Friday morning to leave the rest of the day dry with plenty of sunshine and light winds.
Maximum temperature 22 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Dry with light winds and prolonged sunshine this weekend.
Warm during the day but chilly overnight with the odd fog patch.
Remaining dry and warm Monday but perhaps cloudier.
