THE body of a baby porpoise has been found washed up on a popular beach by shocked members of the public.

The animal was found this morning on Ovingdean Beach in Marine Drive, Brighton.

Joe Leech saw the animal as he was walking in the area.

He said: “Me and my mate stumbled across what appeared to be a creature of the deep.

“But we quickly realised it was a dead dolphin.”
