IS IT a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s Fatboy slim running through an obstacle course covered in foam.
Super families showed their special powers as they ran faster than speeding bullets around an obstacle course of deadly foes.
Hundreds of people took part in the Kapow hero-themed 5km run around Preston Park in Brighton. The fun run included an inflatable assault course and finished with the heroic competitors taking on a sea of foam to cross the finish line.
DJ Norman Cook took part dressed as Superman with his nine-year-old daughter Nelly running as Spiderwoman.
Norman said: “It was fabulous, the sun was shining and I’m now covered in foam, and suitably warm. I don’t think my outfit is conducive to running in warm weather. I was with my daughter and a lot of friends, about nine of us, it’s a great day out for the family.”
The event is held in aid of the Martlets hospice.
Martlets is a charity that provides terminally ill people in Brighton and Hove, and surrounding areas, with care and support.
