THIS month Churchill Square celebrates its 21st anniversary.
But it wasn’t always the shopping centre you see when you go into town.
In today’s Timeout we look back to the Sixties when Churchill Square first opened up until the mid-Nineties when it was torn down for redevelopment.
The shopping centre certainly looked different back when it was first constructed.
It was demolished in the mid-Nineties and officially opened again in 1998 as the Churchill Square we know today.
