A DRUNK yob attacked a woman in a car and made knife threats in front of children.

Dean Ridgley assaulted two victims, who The Argus has chosen not to name, in Horsham. The 35-year-old committed a “sustained assault” on “vulnerable people”, Crawley Magistrates’ Court heard.

Ridgley denied two assaults on a woman, and one assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a man. But he was found guilty.

Magistrate Paul Notarbartolo imposed a six-month suspended prison sentence.

Ridgley, of Wickhurst Lane, Broadbridge Heath, near Horsham, must attend 40 days of the Building Better Relationships Programme.

He must also complete 200 hours of unpaid community service, and pay a £115 surcharge and £625 court costs.
