STUNNING seaside shots have been commended by a mariners’ charity.

Following the Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society’s photo competition, the group has released some more amazing photos of Brighton sent in by entrants.

Callum White’s photo of Palace Pier at dusk was commended.

The Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society supports fisherman, merchant mariners, and their loved ones through financial hardship.

They paid more than £1.4 million in grants to more than 2,000 people last year.

Fellow not-for-profit organisation Ensign supported the competition. It provides pensions for more than 4,000 workers in the maritime industry,

It manages more than £100 million from more than 60 firms.
