A NEWLY-MARRIED couple pose for photographs on the edge of the crumbling cliff at Beachy head.

The unknown pair were photographed just feet from the edge of the cliff.

An assistant could be seen fluffing up the bride’s train in the breeze as they posed just feet from the deadly 400ft drop to the rocks below as a photographer snaps the smiling couple.

Earlier this week the Coastguard warned people to stay away from the cliffs because of the risk of collapse, especially after heavy recent rainfall.

Several mounds of white rock crumbled onto the beach at Birling Gap on Sunday afternoon, prompting the warning.

A spokesman for Birling Gap Coastguard said: “Please stay away from cliff edges. There has been a series of cliff falls in the Birling Gap area as well as the Seven Sisters.”

The cliff edge is fenced off to protect visitors.

In 2017 South Korean student Hyewon Kym fell to her death while posing for a selfie on the cliff top.
