A POWER cut has left hundreds of homes without electricity.
UK Power Networks said the fault was not due to be fixed until this afternoon.
The cut is affecting an estimated 579 people in the Seaford area.
A spokesman for the company said: "We're sorry for any disruption this may be causing you.
"We estimate the power will be back on between 12:30pm and 1:30pm.
"We may be able to get some customers on sooner.
"The reason for this power cut is an underground electricity cable faulted on our high voltage network, causing an area wide power cut."
The postcodes affected are BN25 3 and BN25 4.
UK Power Networks said the power had been restored to the area at about 11.00pm.
