A SUSSEX strictly star is going strong after surviving another tough week in the competition.
Video blogger Saffron Barker and her dance partner AJ Pritchard performed a passionate paso doble for judges, both dressed in militaristic black leather outfits.
The dance was based on the Hunger Games, one of Saffron's favourite films, and the Rottingdean teen could barely contain her excitement at taking on the role of the protagonist - bow and arrow wielding Katniss Everdeen.
To help her get into the role the pair even tried their hand at archery in preparation for the role.
The 19-year-old struggled with some of the complex steps for the dance saying she "literally could not balance".
But on the night she was able to give a strong performance with judge Bruno Tonioli saying he could "see the fight and spirit in the battle for survival".
She was given a score of 28 out of 40 for the dance, seeing her finish in mid-table and progress to week four of the dance competition.
