MORE than £10,000 has been donated to those made homeless in a flat fire.
The block of apartments in Pankhurst Avenue, Brighton, was destroyed by the blaze on September 20. Up to 50 people were left without a home.
Work to clear rubble started last week and an investigation into the cause of the fire is continuing.
City council housing officers are working with the Guinness Partnership, which owns the site, to provide accommodation to those affected.
So far more than £10,000 has been raised. To support it, visit gofundme.com/f/pankhurst-flats-fire-campaign.
