A CRASH on a busy road is causing severe delays.
The collision has blocked the A27 near the junction with Dyke Road Avenue.
The crash involved two vehicles.
An AA spokesman said: "The road is partially blocked and there is queueing traffic due to a crash involving two vehicles on the A27 Westbound at Devils Dyke Road (the Hove turn off).
"This is affecting traffic towards Worthing.
"There are severe delays of twelve minutes and these delays are increasing on the A27 Westbound between the A23 London Road and the A293 (at the Portslade/West Hove turn off).
"The average speed is five mph."
The road has now been cleared.
The spokesman also warned of delays on the A259 due to a series of roadworks.
He said: "There are temporary traffic signals due to water main work on A259 Brighton Road near East Street.
"So there are severe delays of twelve minutes and delays increasing on the A259 in Shoreham."
