TWO men are appearing in court after an early hours smash and grab burglary at a cafe.
A charity collection pot was stolen as well as a till drawer containing a small amount of cash.
Police were called to The Trading Post Coffee Roasters in Kensington Gardens, Brighton, at 2.12am yesterday.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Stephen Fidler, 43, unemployed, of no fixed address, and Mark Kaid, 39, unemployed, of Regency Square, Brighton, were arrested and charged with burglary.
“Both defendants were remanded in custody to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court.”
