A BENEFITS cheat has been ordered to pay thousands of pounds in compensation.
Judith Stillwell claimed Employment Support Allowance when she was receiving pension payments.
The 65-year-old, of Hillcrest Drive, Ashington, changed her plea to guilty at Worthing Magistrates’ Court.
She was fined £500 and told to pay a £50 surcharge and £250 court costs.
Stillwell must also pay £15,775 in compensation.
