A KNIFEMAN has been sent to prison because of his “persistent” crimes.
Daniel Johnson was found in possession of the blade at the Riverside Industrial Estate in Littlehampton.
It was the second time in recent months he was found with such a weapon.
At Crawley Magistrates’ Court he admitted possessing the knife, and possession of cannabis.
Johnson, of Beaumont Park, Littlehampton, failed to show up to court and failed to comply with supervision after his release from prison.
Magistrates sent him to prison for six months and ordered him to pay a £132 surcharge and £85 costs.
