SIR Cliff Richard is coming to town.

The veteran singer, pictured, has announced he will be performing at the Brighton Centre on October 10 next year.

The show will be part of The Great 80 Tour, to coincide with his 80th birthday celebrations.

One of Britain’s best-loved musicians, Sir Cliff started out with his band The Shadows and shot to fame in the late 1950s before pursuing a successful solo career in music and on stage and screen.

He has sold 250 million albums worldwide with 14 number one hit singles.

The tour will kick off on September 23 at Gateshead with nationwide dates lined up throughout the UK including two birthday finales at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on October 25 through LiveNation.co.uk.
