THE i360 is set to be illuminated purple in support of a children’s charity.

The Brighton seafront landmark will change its lights on Friday to mark Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) day.

It is an international event to raise awareness about a disorder that affects about seven per cent of the population worldwide.

Children with DLD have difficulty understanding what people are saying or signing and struggle to express their ideas and feelings.

Other landmarks going purple for the day include Niagara Falls and bridges acrosss Australia and the US.
