IT IS ABOUT time that something was done to sort out the disgraceful state of the public toilets in Churchill Square Shopping Centre, which is supposedly Brighton’s premier shopping destination. T

he smell assaults you as you walk past the entrance passageway, and that is even before you get close.

Once inside, the stink is overpowering.

In the men’s toilet which I visited last Saturday the toilet bowls were all completely covered in stains, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a long time.

It was impossible to find a usable one.

All in all it was a truly unpleasant experience.

I don’t know who manages the shopping centre, but they ought to be prosecuted for presiding over what in my opinion is in danger of becoming a public health hazard.
