MSJ JEWELLERS SELSEY HIGH STREET ROBBERY
A MAN smashed the window of a jewellers with a hammer and snatched several items inside in broad daylight.
The burglary was reported at 10.15am and a police helicopter was scrambled to search the area along with several officers on the ground.
A man matching the description given of the perpetrator was detained nearby.
The incident happened at M.S.J Jewellers in High Street, Selsey.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and remains in custody while the investigation is ongoing.
