A HELICOPTER was called out last night as concern for a missing 80-year-old grows.
The National Police Air Service helicopter helped Sussex Police search for Raja Mohammad Yaqub Khan, 80, who is missing from Brighton. He was last seen in Carden Avenue at 6.15pm on Wednesday.
Mr Khan is described as 5’6” and of medium build.
He was wearing a green khaki jacket, black trousers, black Nike trainers, a dark green and grey peaked cap (as pictured) and a brown walking stick.
It is believed that he may have boarded a number 26 bus in Brighton at 6.06pm.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Anyone seeing Mr Khan or knowing of his whereabouts is asked to call police on 999, quoting serial 1500 of 15/10.
"Please check sheds and outbuildings, and call 999 if you see him".
> UPDATE: Mr Khan has been found. He has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
